Jack Pine Gallery's Annual Fall Juried Art Exhibition includes artwork from contemporary artists, reflecting a wide range of styles including watercolour, acrylic, oil painting, sketching and photographic art.
The series, Resilience: Pulse, will be displayed at the exhibition and will be at the beautiful, 3 storey John Mckenzie Historic House (34 Parkview Ave, North York, Toronto).
This artwork won second place for figure drawing at the exhibition.
This red brick house incudes a grand L-shaped, wrap-around verandah with stylized Doric columns was built in a style which has been described as Edwardian, Queen Anne Revival and Arts and Crafts.
The house is an important part of North York's history - one of John Mckenzie's brothers, Alexander Mckenzie, became Canada's second Prime Minister. The Ontario Historical Society is committed to restoring and maintaining this property – the house, milk house, stable and coach house.

This snapshot of my work is titled “Disposition” – reflecting inherent qualities of mind and character. The piece selected here is an expression of my personal feelings as I grow up, the primitive and subconscious emotions that are at the very core of human nature.
Resilience and the series Resilience: Pulse will be displayed in the Emergence Gallery, at the Neilson Park Creative Center.
